Here at Northwest Catholic School, we know that all children can learn — and this foundational belief drives our academic programs. Every student is inspired by our high academic standards and given the support they need to achieve them.

Our teachers take pride in using many different teaching tools and methods to reach learners of all types.

We keep our class sizes small so students are ensured individualized attention, utilizing online resources and small group instruction to close gaps for our learners. To enhance the classroom experience, we partner with Reading Corps and SHARP Literacy. These programs enable us to provide access to critical resources and interactive learning opportunities for our students. We find that these programs not only help students succeed in the classroom, but succeed in life by building up their self-confidence.

Our students at Northwest Catholic School are grounded. Our core curriculum is infused with Gospel values and the Catholic faith. Students are taught in the Catholic faith tradition, and we focus on building Christian morals.

In addition, our school community has dedicated time each day for “Mindfulness Moments.” It’s working. The program helps “center” our students to keep their minds sharp and focused, and teaches them coping and relaxation strategies.

NWCS uses PowerSchool for our on-line grading program. Parents can check their child’s academic progress at anytime.
